Settlement – Goods Configuration
| Building | Good 1 | Good 2 | Good 3 | Good 4 |
Help & Information
This is where you enter which goods the individual buildings of your settlement cost. The table is rendered automatically from the selected civilisation - each one has exactly 4 goods (e.g. for the Vikings: Axes, Mead, Horns, Wool) and a fixed building order from the Shrine to the Legendary Temple.
The table:
- Each row = one building in unlock order. The first column shows the name, the 4 goods columns behind it show the amount that this building costs.
- Clicking a cell opens an input field. Enter e.g. "10" there and the building adds 10 of that good to the total need.
- Buildings that only need one or two goods (the early ones) simply have 0 in the other columns - that's normal and doesn't need filling in.
Every settlement run has a different distribution of goods. You need to adjust the values so the assistant can track and calculate the requirement correctly.
Save: The values land in the active settlement preset - not globally. So each preset has its own goods configuration. Cancel discards all unsaved changes, Reset sets every cell back to 0 (careful: that also wipes your correct values).
What's entered here flows directly into the Settlement Assistant's calculation - the cumulative sum and the remaining need are calculated from these values. Wrong input here = wrong total need there.
